Mary Thompson

I know very little about Philip's siblings, including his older sister Mary. Born in 1818, she married Richard Thompson, and died in 1881. They had a daughter, Elizabeth, called Bessie, who was Philip's favorite niece. Bessie never married and died at age 40. In commemoration, Philiip erected a small chapel, St. Elizabeth's Chapel, in St. Philip's Church.
